Biblically Responsible Investing
Envoy provides numerous services that align with the mission and values of crisis centers. At the center of our service to you is Biblically Responsible Investing (BRI). We believe that investing shouldn’t have to mean compromising on your biblical worldview. BRI is a form of values-based investing that seeks to stay within the boundaries of biblical convictions. However, BRI differs from other values-based investing styles, such as SRI or ESG.
Biblically Responsible Investing works by using a set of filters that we screen for. Each filter is based on convictions found in scripture and typically held by Christians. Not all screens that we use are held up as convictions equally by all Christians. This allows us to narrow down the pool of usable stocks and funds to a variety we can use for trading in portfolios. Therefore, clients and others that we serve can invest freely without fear of violating their own convictions.
Many companies on the exchange are violators of Biblical Values and promotors of the abortion movement.
It is easy to understand why Biblically Responsible Investing is useful in the culture of the modern age. As you can see, it’s quite possible to avoid stocks. But does this mean you have to necessarily miss out on the returns provided by the market? The answer to that is twofold.
